    Steam lines and condensate systemsmanagement

A steam-distribution and condensate-return system should deliver steam efficientlyfrom the boiler plant to heating systems and processing equipment and return condensate to the boiler for reuse. Percentageof the energy is always lost from a steam andcondensate system, most significantly in steam trap loss. Others include heat lossfrom piping and fittings (insulated and un-insulated), leaks and flash losses, condensateloss to drain and overall system losses. This section is intended to helpyou find and correct the sources of energy loss.

Our group can serve the following activities:

      • Design of the steam and condensate plants.
      • Pipe sizing of the plant.
      • Selection of equipments suit for the steam lines and/or the condensates lines.
      • Design the heat recovery system.
      • Improve the efficiency of the established steam plant.
